About Our Statue:
Standing elegantly at 21.5 cm in height and 14 cm in breadth, this revered sculpture of the Medicine Buddha is a magnificent work of spiritual creativity with a composed and respectable demeanor. The statue, which is made of copper, symbolizes the unwavering spirit of enlightenment and is welcoming. The Medicine Buddha's brilliant force of healing and compassion is symbolized by the copper's delicate sheen, which reflects light beautifully. From the calm face to the deft hand movements, every curve, fold, and detail has been expertly crafted by trained artisans, maintaining the depth and purity of ancient Buddhist workmanship. The sculpture's harmonious form brings peace and respect to whichever area it is placed in.
The Buddha—also called Bhaisajyaguru in Sanskrit—is regarded as the Buddha of Healing, the divine healer who relieves both mental and bodily suffering. He is holding a bowl of medicinal herbs and nectar, symbolizing his ability to heal illnesses and bring all living things back into harmony. Clarity, wisdom, and the limitless nature of compassion are symbolized by his deep blue aura, which is frequently compared to the bright lapis lazuli. It is said that having this holy picture in one's house or place of meditation will bring serenity, harmony, and good health. It acts as a continual reminder of the healing light that is inside each of us, the capacity to turn suffering into peace and pain into insight.
Introduction To Medicine Buddha :
Medicine Buddha is called the Buddha of Healing, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit. His teachings stress the desire to amass wealth and pleasure in this life while also working to relieve sentient beings from disease, pain, suffering, and misery. Many Mahayana meditators admire his healing prowess. He is typically shown with a begging bowl and medicinal herbs while having a blue (lapis lazuli) body.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
