The Golden Statue of Amitayus tells a story of endless life and wisdom. Crowned with five points symbolizing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, Amitayus sits serenely in the vajrasana pose atop a lotus throne. His ushnisha shines as a mark of supreme insight, while his hands gently cradle a kalasha brimming with the nectar of immortality, held in a peaceful dhyana mudra. A swirling scarf dances around him, radiating compassionate energy, and his long earlobes whisper tales of deep listening and renunciation. Draped in bodhisattva jewels, this statue invites you to embrace longevity, compassion, and spiritual awakening.
In the rich tapestry of Mahayana Buddhism, Amitayus emerges as a radiant form of Amitabha Buddha, celebrated as the "Buddha of Infinite Life." Linked closely with the Lotus family, he embodies the endless journey of life and the merit needed to reach enlightenment. Often depicted holding a vessel filled with amrita—the legendary elixir of immortality—Amitayus symbolizes the gifts of longevity, healing, and spiritual resilience. His presence inspires all who encounter him to cultivate a life marked by mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, guiding them toward lasting peace.

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
