Mahasiddha, Jamana Gubaju:

A prominent Mahasiddha from the Kathmandu Valley, Jamana Gubaju is revered for his profound spiritual accomplishments and close ties to tantric Buddhism. He is admired as a spiritual mentor for surpassing common boundaries and reaching enlightenment with practice, insight, and commitment. With its elaborate details and vivid arcylic hues that honor the Kathmandu Valley's creative traditions, this hand-painted thangka perfectly conveys the spirit of his enlightened presence.

With a bell in one hand and a vajra in the other, Jamana Gubaju is shown sitting calmly on a lotus throne, signifying the fusion of compassion and wisdom. The Vajrayogini Mandala, which symbolizes the sacred feminine energy and his association with tantric traditions. With its magnificent Shambhunath Stupa in the background, the Kathmandu Valley's rich spiritual legacy is symbolized. Shambhunath's harmonic integration into the composition, the mandala, and the elaborate detailing of his celestial garments all demonstrate the thangka's exquisite artistry, making it a powerful focal point for sacred art collections or meditation.
