The design of the Ganesh sculpture captures the essence of Lord Ganesh’s traditional features, from his gentle, large ears that symbolize listening and understanding, to his trunk that represents flexibility and the ability to overcome challenges. The gold plating gives the statue an aura of divinity, while the acrylic colors add vibrancy and life to this divine representation of Lord Ganesh. This statue is a powerful reminder of the blessings Ganesh bestows upon those who seek his guidance.
Introduction To Ganesh:
The popularity of Buddhist Ganesha extends beyond the spiritual. Ganesha is a Sanskrit name for the protector of prosperity and the remover of hindrances in Tibetan Buddhism. He is Vinayaka, a directional Protector. Avalokiteshvara persuades Ganesha to become a Dharma Protector in one of the Tantra stories.
How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
- Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
- Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
- Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
- Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
