About Our Statue:

The Green Tara Statue is a representation of the Tibetan goddess of compassion and protection, designed to bring peace and blessings into your life. Standing at 21.5 cm in height and weighing 1.29 kg, this exquisite statue is crafted from a unique blend of Murgus, gold plating, gemstones, and acrylic color, resulting in a work of spiritual art. Green Tara is renowned for her ability to bring swift protection, remove obstacles, and provide spiritual relief to those in need. Her compassionate nature and powerful energy are perfectly captured in this statue.

Green Tara's iconography is rich with symbolism, each gesture and element representing her attributes of compassion, protection, and swift action. Her right hand is positioned in varadha mudra, the gesture of offering, which signifies her willingness to grant blessings, assistance, and compassion to all beings. Her left hand is held in the three-jeweled mudra, symbolizing the Three Jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (community), representing her role as a protector and guide on the path to enlightenment. The right leg extended forward indicates her readiness to act swiftly, a key attribute of Green Tara, who is often called upon for her swift intervention and help in times of need. Her crown represents her enlightened state, symbolizing her wisdom and spiritual sovereignty. The right leg holding a utpala flower signifies her purity and the blossoming of spiritual potential. Finally, the lotus base upon which Green Tara stands symbolizes her emergence from the depths of samsara (the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth), embodying her purity, spiritual awakening, and the potential for all beings to attain enlightenment. Each element in her iconography reinforces Green Tara’s role as a powerful force of compassion and protection.

Green Tara is a revered female Buddha, known as the "Mother of Liberation," celebrated for her swift response to those who call upon her. She symbolizes the active aspect of compassion, alleviating fears, obstacles, and suffering with unparalleled speed. Devotion to Green Tara is believed to lead to protection, the fulfillment of wishes, and spiritual growth.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
