Sacred Master of Healing, Medicine Buddha Thangka | With Lhasa Stone Colors & Myrobalan Plant

This Master of Healing, Medicine Buddha Thangka, honors the healing power, also known as Bhaiṣajyaguru. Natural stone hues and genuine 24K gold details are used to create this spiritual artwork on cotton canvas in the traditional Karma Gadri style, renowned for its flowing landscapes and understated elegance. The Thangka's meticulous brushwork and mineral pigments transform it into a spiritual means that promotes inner harmony, healing, and mindfulness, in addition to being a stunning work of art.

The lapis lazuli blue used to portray the Medicine Buddha symbolizes spiritual transformation and divine healing light. He is peaceful and compassionate, sitting in the vajra position on a moon disk and lotus seat that is in bloom. Known for its powerful healing properties, the Myrobalan plant is held in his right hand in the varada mudra, or gesture of giving. A monk's alms bowl, having the healing fruit of Myrobalan that symbolizes relief from all pain, rests in his left hand. His flowing monk's robe represents renunciation and purity. Ideal for altars, meditation spaces, or collectors of sacred Tibetan artifacts and artwork.
