About Our Statue:

This Supreme Wisdom Bodhisattva Manjushri Statue stands 33.5 cm tall with a 24 cm base and weighs 3.1 kg. Skillfully handcrafted from copper and richly gilded in 24K gold, the statue is detailed with acrylic colors that accentuate its serene presence. Manjushri, the embodiment of transcendent wisdom (prajñā), holds the sword that cuts through ignorance and the lotus supporting the book of wisdom. This exquisite statue makes a profound addition to altars, meditation areas, or spiritual study spaces dedicated to clarity of mind and intellectual awakening.

Manjushri, the revered Bodhisattva of Wisdom, sits elegantly on a lotus and moon disc throne—symbols of purity, steadiness, and liberation from illusion. The lotus, rising from muddy waters, represents wisdom blossoming from ignorance, while the moon disc reflects the calm clarity of an enlightened mind. In his right hand, he brandishes a flaming sword that cuts through delusion to reveal the ultimate truth. His left hand forms the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of teaching and thoughtful dialogue, underscoring his role as a master of profound Dharma. Beside his left arm, a lotus cradles the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, the sacred text embodying transcendent wisdom that leads to enlightenment. Adorned with celestial jewels and a crown symbolizing the Five Dhyani Buddhas—each representing a wisdom that dispels ignorance—Manjushri shines as a luminous guide, inviting all beings to awaken to truth and freedom from suffering.

Manjushri is one of the most revered bodhisattvas in Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna Buddhism, known as the Bodhisattva of Wisdom (Prajñā). He embodies transcendent insight, sharp intellect, and enlightened knowledge qualities essential for realizing the true nature of reality.

Introduction To Manjushri :

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, which its scholars recognize.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
