About our Statue:

Presenting our Guru Rinpoche Small Oxidized Statue: an impressive depiction of Padmasambhava, often known as Guru Rinpoche, who is regarded by Tibetan Buddhists as the "Second Buddha." This statue, which is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) tall and rests on a 9.5 cm (3.7 inch) base, was crafted in the ancient workshops of Patan, Nepal. It is a significant addition to any area looking for spiritual depth.

This item is sculpted from quality oxidized copper, giving it a particular old appearance and representing the timeless wisdom Guru Rinpoche contributed to the Buddhist community. His priestly attire and caring expression are accentuated by the fine details painted in gold and acrylic. Its 0.620 kg weight, small size, and prominent presence make it perfect for meditation areas, personal altars, or as the centerpiece of a collection of spiritual artifacts.

Padmasambhava, or Guru Rinpoche, meaning 'Precious Master,' is a seminal figure in Tibetan Buddhism, celebrated for his miraculous powers, profound teachings, and the establishment of Buddhism in Tibet. His legacy, encompassing numerous teachings, miracles, and terma (hidden treasures), continues to inspire and guide practitioners on the path to awakening. Invoking Padmasambhava in practice is believed to foster protection, guidance, and spiritual awakening, making his presence a source of inspiration and refuge for devotees.

Introduction to Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche:

Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche (1920–1996) was one of the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist masters of the 20th century, celebrated for his profound realization of Dzogchen and Mahamudra teachings. A holder of both the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages, he was widely respected for his simplicity, compassion, and ability to convey the essence of meditation directly and clearly. Having trained under some of Tibet’s most outstanding teachers, Tulku Urgyen played a vital role in preserving and transmitting authentic Buddhist wisdom to the modern world. After settling in Nepal, he established important monasteries such as Nagi Gompa. He became a spiritual guide to many prominent lamas of the new generation, leaving behind an enduring legacy through his teachings and writings on the nature of mind and awareness.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
