About Our Product

The Shyama Tara Statue of Love and Compassion embodies compassion and knowledge. This handcrafted statue is made of copper and plated with 24k gold, electro silver, and acrylic color. Standing 36 cm tall and 27 cm wide, it depicts Green Tara's serene and graceful form, symbolizing her loving and protective nature. The combination of copper, gold, and silver plating highlights the statue's intricate details, creating Tara's spiritual significance. This statue is perfect for meditation areas, altars, or as a decorative item, serving as a reminder of Tara's compassionate energy and love.

As depicted, Green Tara is shown seated on a lotus throne with her right leg typically extended forward, signifying her active compassion and willingness to help. Her hands express profound meaning through their gestures. The right hand is displayed in the "gesture of giving" (Varada Mudra), symbolizing her boundless generosity and willingness to provide blessings. Meanwhile, her left hand delicately holds a blue lotus (Utpala), a symbol of purity and spiritual awakening, offering protection and reassurance to those who seek her guidance.

Introduction of Green Tara

Green Tara is a highly revered female Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying the principles of swift compassion, protection, and enlightened activity. She is considered a savior who responds quickly to the needs and prayers of her devotees, helping them overcome obstacles, fears, and dangers on the path to spiritual realization. Green Tara, known as the "Mother of Liberation," is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha," is chanted for her blessings and swift, compassionate action.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
