About our Statue:

The Green Tara Statue is a beautiful representation of the compassionate and protective goddess Tara, crafted from brass. At 10.5 cm high and 8.5 cm wide, this small yet elegant statue brings the calming energy of Tara into your home, altar, or meditation space. Weighing only 0.34 kg, it is lightweight and perfectly sized for various displays, while still offering a strong spiritual presence.

The Green Tara statue is rich in meaningful iconography that symbolizes her qualities of compassion, protection, and swift assistance. Her right hand is in the Varadha Mudra, the gesture of offering, symbolizing her boundless generosity and willingness to grant blessings, protection, and compassion to all beings. In her left hand, she holds the Three Jeweled Mudra, representing the three jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dharma (the teachings), and the Sangha (the community), which provide refuge and guidance for those on the spiritual path. Green Tara’s right leg is extended forward, symbolizing her readiness to act swiftly to answer calls for help and her active compassion in relieving suffering. She sits upon a lotus base, a symbol of purity and spiritual growth, as the lotus rises untouched by the muddy waters of samsara, representing her transcendence over ignorance and suffering. Together, these elements convey Tara’s protective, compassionate nature and her constant availability to help those in need.

Introduction To The Green Tara:

Green Tara is one of the principal deities who deal with us, confused and distracted beings, bringing us back to our original state. It helps you let go of hope for a particular outcome and get your energy back, generating inner peace and clarity. She is believed to be incarnate in every pious woman. Green is associated with the element wood in the five elements. The wood element inspires rejuvenation, compassion, flexibility, and growth.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
