About Our Ritual Item :
This Golden Stupa for Altar is a magnificent work of art that brings spiritual enlightenment, protection, and beauty to your sacred space. Standing at an impressive 112cm in height and 61cm in width, and weighing a substantial 30.82kg, this stupa commands attention and exudes a deep sense of serenity. Handcrafted from copper and meticulously gold-plated, the stupa is adorned with coral and turquoise stones, which enhance its spiritual significance and aesthetic appeal. It serves as a powerful symbol of peace, enlightenment, and devotion in Tibetan Buddhism and other Eastern spiritual traditions.
The intricate design of the stupa is both symbolic and breathtaking. At the base, delicate carvings of divine figures and protective symbols surround the structure, representing guardianship and spiritual strength. The stupa’s towering body tapers to a pinnacle, symbolizing the path to enlightenment — rising higher with each layer of the finely detailed structure. The coral and turquoise inlays add vibrant color, representing the union of earthly and celestial energies. Together, the motifs reflect the eternal flow of energy, harmony, and the timeless quest for wisdom.
Ideal for temples, meditation rooms, or spiritual altars, this Golden Stupa creates a peaceful, calming atmosphere while serving as a central focus for prayer, reflection, and meditation. The gold-plated finish catches the light, radiating warmth and spiritual energy, inviting contemplation and connection to higher consciousness. Whether used in ritual offerings, as a decorative centerpiece, or as a sacred art piece, this stupa carries profound meaning and represents the illumination of both the physical and spiritual realms.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
