Introduction To Vajrapani :
The name Vajrapani means the holder of the Vajra representing the power aspect of complete enlightenment. In the Sutra tradition of Mahayana Buddhism the Bodhisattva Vajrapani is portrayed in a peaceful appearance while in the Vajrayana tradition he is described in his most characteristic wrathful form and known as Guhyapati that means 'the Lord of Secrets' because he is considered as the main recipient and protector of all the sacred Tantra texts, literature, and teachings derived directly from Buddha Shakyamuni.

How to take care of your thangka?
-Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade
-Regular Inspection of your thangka; examine the borders and all attachments.
-Keep thangkas covered when they are on display but not in use.
-Rotate thangkas between display and storage on a regular basis, two to four times a year, to reduce the amount of exposure to light. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
-Do not apply liquids or other materials to the surface of the thangka.

Consecration of Thangka
At the Enlightenment Thangka, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka to respective Monasteries.

For any reason you need to return your item, we're here to help.
