Original Tibetan Amitabha Buddha Painting | The Buddha of Limitless Light and Serenity

This Tibetan Amitabha Buddha Thangka is a hand-painted masterpiece created in our Enlightenment studio on high-quality cotton canvas. It features vibrant acrylic colors and is accented with 24K gold. All details, from the glowing halo to the delicate lotus petals, are meticulously painted in the traditional Karma Gadri style, renowned for its clarity and spaciousness. The ruby-red figure of Amitabha stands out against a subtle background, while the lotus throne, moon disc, and monk’s bowl are enhanced with layered pigments, adding both depth and spiritual radiance.

Amitabha, known as the Buddha of Infinite Light, is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas and rules over the western Pure Land, Sukhavati, where followers aim to be reborn to progress toward enlightenment quickly. In this thangka, he is shown in deep meditation, seated on a lotus throne with a calm expression, wearing a monk’s robe that signifies simplicity and renunciation. His hands form the dhyana mudra while holding the monk’s begging bowl, symbolizing wisdom and compassion. The Dharma wheels on his feet illustrate his eternal vow to guide beings from ignorance to liberation, and his ruby-red body represents infinite compassion and endless spiritual energy. This thangka is more than an artwork—it is a sacred representation of Amitabha’s blessings, suitable for meditation, temple practice, or as a spiritual centerpiece.
