About Our Statue :
This Standing Dipankara Buddha Statue, 26cm tall and 11.5cm wide with a weight of 2.504kg, is a precious Buddhist artifact carved and cast in pure brass with a hand-painted gold face. Dipankara Buddha, also known as the Buddha of Light, is thought to have attained enlightenment eons before Gautama Buddha, representing knowledge, longevity, and an unending cycle of awakening. This beautifully carved statue brings a tremendous spiritual presence to Buddhist altars, meditation places, and sacred shrines, assisting practitioners in connecting with divine energy and inner serenity.
The Standing Dipankara Buddha's artwork is heavily symbolic, with his right hand creating the Varada Mudra, representing charity, compassion, and granting of boons. This mudra represents the removal of fear and the encouragement of confidence along the path to enlightenment. His perfectly positioned left hand indicates compassion, blessings, and the gift of spiritual insight. The flowing robe draped across his body represents the simplicity of Buddhist teachings, while the outstanding gold-painted face radiates calm and divine grace.
Dipankara Buddha is highly respected in Tibetan, Nepalese, and Chinese Buddhist traditions and is frequently portrayed as a guardian figure who brings prosperity and harmony. This sacred brass figure is perfect for meditation, prayer rituals, and spiritual offerings, making it a valuable addition to any Buddhist shrine or altar. Whether employed for daily devotion or as a timeless work of art, this Standing Dipankara Buddha represents knowledge, compassion, and enlightenment.
Introduction To Dipankar Buddha :
Dipankara is a historical Buddha who is supposed to have lived on Earth for a hundred thousand years. The number of Buddhas that have existed in theory is tremendous, and they are sometimes referred to as "Thousand Buddhas." Each was responsible for a life cycle. Dipankara (also Dipamkara) was a Buddha who attained enlightenment eons before Gautama, according to certain Buddhist sources. Dipankara is usually shown as a seated Buddha, but standing Buddhas are widespread in China, Thailand, and Nepal; he usually forms a protective mudra (Abhaya mudra) with his right hand, but he sometimes makes it with both hands.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
