About Our Statue:
This Vajrasattva sculpture is a traditional Tibetan Dorje Sempa figure expertly crafted from copper alloy. Measuring 6.6'' tall, this miniature sculpture skillfully encapsulates the Tibetan spiritual tradition and is perfectly sized for any desk or shelf, and a travel shrine.
The Tibetan Dorje sempa is depicted sitting calmly atop a moon disc, set within a magnificently hand-carved double lotus seat. He has a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left. He is adorned in handcrafted jewels and silk robes. Our expert artists in Nepal handcrafted the statue on a copper body.
Vajrasattva, also known as Dorje Sempa, is a Buddhist deity who represents purity and healing. He is worshipped as the priest of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, often shown reclining and carrying a vajra (a ritual instrument that represents both a thunderbolt and a diamond) and a bell. His practice is centered on purification, spiritual development, and cultivating a clear and enlightened mind. Having a Vajrasattva statue in one's home might serve as a daily reminder to promote purity and kindness in one's life.
Introduction To Vajrasattva :
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as a figure of purity. He is frequently seen clutching a bell and a vajra, or thunderbolt, signifying the confluence of wisdom and compassion required for enlightenment. His mantra is often repeated as part of individual and group purification rituals, highlighting his role in helping followers maintain spiritual integrity and cleanliness.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
