About our Statue:

Samantha Bhadra with Consort Statue stands at 4.9 inches (12.5 cm) tall with a 3.9-inch (10 cm) base and weighs 0.60 kilograms. Crafted from an oxidized copper body, it enhances its spiritual presence and timeless aesthetic. Despite its small size, the statue is rich in detail, making it a perfect addition to altars, shelves, or personal sacred spaces. Ideal for those seeking a modest yet meaningful expression of Buddhist art.

This statue beautifully captures the sacred union of skillful means (upaya) and wisdom (prajna). Samantabhadra embodies compassionate action, while Samantabhadri reflects the heart of wisdom. Together, they guide us toward the ultimate truth and liberation. Their calm faces reveal a state of enlightenment beyond worldly dualities, and the lotus base symbolizes purity and transcendence. Perfect for personal altars, meditation corners, or spiritual collections, this statue brings a serene and uplifting presence to any space.

Introduction to Samantabhadra:

In Mahayana Buddhism, Samantabhadra is a bodhisattva symbolizing kindness and joy, often portrayed alongside Shakyamuni Buddha and the bodhisattva Manjushri. He appears riding either a three-headed elephant or a single-headed elephant with six tusks. In China, Samantabhadra is honored as the guardian deity of Mount Emei in Sichuan province. Within Vajrayana, or Tantric Buddhism, he is seen as the embodiment of Vairocana, the cosmic Buddha. Known as Puxian in Chinese and Fugen in Japanese, his presence carries deep spiritual significance across cultures.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
