About Our Statue :
The Radiant Shakyamuni Buddha Handmade Art symbolizes the Buddha's profound teachings and the path to spiritual awakening. This handcrafted statue is 8.9" (Height) x 5.5" (Base) and weighs 1.19 kg. It is made of copper, decorated with 24K gold gilding, and enhanced with gold and acrylic paints. This sacred statue, crafted by expert Nepalese artisans, embodies the craftsmanship of Himalayan Buddhism, making it an inspirational addition to altars, meditation spaces, or holy collections.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted sitting in the lotus pose (padmasana), indicating his steady concentration and mastery over the distractions of the material world. His right hand stretched toward the earth in bhumisparsha mudra, representing his moment of enlightenment, inviting the earth to witness his waking. The left hand, lying gently in his lap in dhyana mudra, holding an alms bowl, depicts the profound state of meditation and mindfulness that leads to insight and clarity.

Gautama Buddha, also known as Shakyamuni Buddha, was a revered spiritual leader and the founder of Buddhism, born Siddhartha Gautama in ancient India, not Nepal. Leaving behind his royal heritage, he achieved enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. He revealed the path to overcoming suffering. Central to his teachings are the Four Noble Truths: recognizing suffering, understanding its cause, realizing its end, and following the Noble Eightfold Path. This path—encompassing right view, intention, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, and concentration—offers a practical guide to ethical living and mental clarity, leading to liberation and lasting peace.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha:

Shakyamuni Buddha renounced his royal life to pursue a more profound truth that transcended material pleasures and suffering. He was born Prince Siddhartha of the Shakya clan. After years of rigorous asceticism and meditation, he became enlightened under the Bodhi tree and became the Buddha, the Awakened One. He then dedicated his life to teaching the Eightfold Path and the Four Noble Truths to attain liberation. Shakyamuni Buddha stands for the potential for all beings to awaken. He embodies wisdom that leads to ultimate freedom, the victory over ignorance, and the tranquility of non-attachment. His presence is a timeless reminder of the transformative power of inner realization, compassion, and mindfulness.

How do you take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
