Introduction To Our Thangka:
Here, the term "mantra" refers to the recital of the key phrases from a certain deity's ritual. The underlying strategy of rescuing one's mind from conceptualization, notion, and dread is revealed when the term mantra is divided into two halves. In Sanskrit, the words "tra" and "man" both signify to guard. The six-syllable mantra "om mani pad me hum" indicates that you may change your impure body, speech, and mind into the elevated, pure body, speech, and mind of a Buddha depending on how well you follow a path that unites technique with knowledge.
In Tantric Buddhism, the Mandala stands in for a symbolic Geometric Diagram that illustrates the metaphysical relationship between the microcosm and the cosmos. Mandalas contain a tremendous amount of spiritual energy.
How to take care of your thangka?
-Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade
-Regular Inspection of your thangka; examine the borders and all attachments.
-Keep thangkas covered when they are on display but not in use.
-Rotate thangkas between display and storage on a regular basis, two to four times a year, to reduce the amount of exposure to light. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
-Do not apply liquids or other materials to the surface of the thangka.
