About Our Statue

This Thousand-Armed Standing Chenrezig statue is a majestic and imposing portrayal of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, made of copper and exquisitely plated in gold. This statue is a huge and substantial sculpture, measuring 51 cm in height, 37 cm in breadth, and weighing 5.43 kg. It is designed to command attention and inspire reverence in any area.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is seen with a thousand arms, representing his limitless ability to reach out and help all beings in need. Each hand is a symbol of protection, support, and compassion, representing the Bodhisattva's promise to relieve the suffering of all sentient beings. The gold plating gives the statue a bright, divine radiance, heightening its spiritual significance and creating a spectacular focal point for any meditation hall, temple, or personal shrine. Intorduction to Chenrezig

Chenrezig is one of the most popular Bodhisattva in Vajrayana. It is celebrated and placed at the heart of every Tibetan Himalayan community.
The practice of Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. Kind, Calm, and Open Mind is only possible if we are compassionate. Avalokiteshvara is used to do visual meditation practice to develop a calm, kind, and compassionate heart.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
