Description
Machig Labdron And The Chod Practice Tradition
The thangka painted by our artist portrays Machig labdron, the Mother of Chod practice tradition.
A beautifully painted Machig Labdron thangka from our studio. We have done the Yogini thangka in a traditional Karma Gadri style. She stands graciously in her dancing postures against a surreal background wearing jewel-studded ornaments and patterned green scarves flowing through her body. She is holding Damaru in her right hand and bell in her left hand. Her expression is fierce standing on a moon disc lotus.
