About our Statue:

The Himalayan Tantric Master Padmasambhava statue stands at 8.9”/22.5 cm in height with a 5.7”/14.5 cm base and weighs 1.09 kg. This statue represents Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), the revered tantric master who brought Buddhism to Tibet. The statue is gilded with 24K gold, gold and acrylic paintings and copper body. Designed by talented Nepalese artisans, this detailed sculpture is ideal for altars, meditation areas, or as a meaningful decor item for individuals seeking awareness in their daily life.

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is depicted in a regal and meditative posture. He holds a Vajra (symbolizing power and compassion) in his right hand and holds a skull-cup containing a vase filled with the nectar of longevity and wisdom in his left hand. The khatvanga, a trident ornamented with symbolic components reflecting his tantric attainment and the union of wisdom and compassion, rests on his left shoulder. This portrayal highlights his role as a protector, teacher, and enlightened being in Vajrayana Buddhism.

Introduction to Guru Rinpoche:

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is one of the most venerated figures in Tibetan Buddhism. Believed to have introduced Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century, he is regarded as the "Second Buddha." His teachings combine wisdom, compassion, and transformative power, guiding practitioners toward liberation. Guru Rinpoche’s iconography—vajra, skull cup, and trident—symbolizes his mastery over obstacles and his ability to dispel ignorance and negativity. He is invoked as a protector and spiritual guide, offering blessings of insight and enlightenment.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
