About Our Product

This Handcrafted Machig Labdron Buddhist Statue is a stunning representation of one of Tibet's most revered female deities. Standing at 21 cm tall and 14 cm wide, this statue beautifully captures the serene and compassionate essence of Machig Labdron, known for her profound teachings on spiritual transformation and enlightenment. Crafted from copper and finished with 24K gold plating, it radiates a divine presence, making it a perfect addition to any altar or sacred space.

This Machig Labdron Statue beautifully depicts the revered yogini in her dynamic tantric form. She holds a damaru (ritual drum) in her right hand and a bell in her left, symbolizing the union of sound and emptiness. Adorned with elegant ornaments yet remaining naked, she represents freedom from attachment and the pure nature of the mind. She confidently steps upon an animal, signifying the conquest over hostile forces and ego. Behind her is a luminous halo decorated with conches, symbolizing the spread of sacred teachings. The statue rests on a sun disc lotus base, embodying purity, enlightenment, and spiritual radiance—making this piece a profound focal point for tantric practice and devotion.

Machig Labdron (1055–1149 CE) was a renowned Tibetan yogini, tantric master, and the founder of the Chöd practice—a unique and powerful spiritual tradition focused on cutting through ego-attachment and fear. Celebrated for her fearless compassion and innovative teachings, Machig Labdron combined meditation, ritual, and visualization techniques to help practitioners confront and transform inner obstacles.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
