About our Statue:
This meaningful Buddha Shakyamuni Statue is a perfect representation of enlightenment in Buddhism. Crafted from high-quality resin, this piece captures the serene expression of the Enlightened Being. The intricate details make this a beautiful addition to any home or office.

He is depicted sitting atop a moon disc of a lotus seat with a calm expression. He is holding an alms bowl, and his other hand is on the earth, in a mudra. His face is painted with 24-karat gold powder, and the rest of his body is made of oxidized copper and silver-plated.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about the tremendous pain people experience in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with his royal father's wishes and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29 years old, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
