About our Statue:
Our Buddha Gautama Shakyamuni statue, a stunning representation of serenity, enlightenment, and exceptional craftsmanship, will transform your spiritual alcove. This statue, delicately plated in brilliant 24k gold and embellished with careful acrylic paints, brings the Enlightened Sage's calm teachings to life. Every curvature, every detail, reveals the depth of its spiritual importance.
The antique finish, however, is what truly distinguishes this piece. This addition not only enhances the statue's timeless appeal but also embodies the ageless wisdom of the Buddha's teachings, which have been passed down through many centuries, remaining relevant and illuminating.
Siddhartha Gautama, also known as Buddha Shakyamuni, is the historical figure who created the Buddhist faith. He eschewed material luxury in search of life's ultimate truth, eventually reaching enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. His teachings, centered on the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, continue to inspire millions of people on their spiritual journey.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with his royal father's wishes and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29 years old, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
