Arya Tara Print
Introduction To Thangka Print:
Arya Tara or White Tara is referred to regarded as "the Goddess of Seven Eyes" because, in addition to the third eye, she also has eyes on her hands and feet. This represents White Tara monitoring all human suffering and advising the devotee to become attentive and conscious of the energy both inside and outside of them.
On a lotus throne, White Tara may be seen seated. She is in the Vajra posture and has a completely white body. A blossoming lotus stalk is being held by her left shoulder with her left hand, which is resting on her heart. The Varadamudra stance of her right hand denotes tremendous generosity. She is wearing all six ornaments.
How does Thangka benefit us?
It goes without saying that every detail of a painting has a symbolic meaning. Regardless of your religious affiliation, a thangka can help you on your path to enlightenment, whether you practice Buddhism or have other religious convictions. Thangkas are paintings that depict deities with various iconographic elements and symbolism that encourage meditation on the teachings of the god they depict. Any thangka is intended to aid in the removal of the film of ignorance, which is a significant barrier to the road to enlightenment.
