About Our Statue :
Lotus of Enlightenment Green Tara stands at 8.7 inches (22 cm) in height, with a base measuring 6.7 inches (17 cm), and weighs approximately 1.53 kilograms. Handcrafted from a copper body, it is adorned with 24K gold gilding and enhanced by intricate gold and acrylic paintings that bring her compassionate presence to life. Green Tara is depicted in a posture of readiness and grace, symbolizing her swift response to the suffering of beings. Her peaceful yet dynamic expression is complemented by fine hand-set gemstones, adding elegance and spiritual depth. Revered as the embodiment of active compassion and protector from fears, this statue is a radiant addition to any sacred space or personal altar.
Green Tara is shown seated on a lotus throne, representing purity and spiritual awakening. Her posture is known as lalitasana, or the "posture of royal ease," characterized by her right leg extended and her left leg folded. This signifies her readiness to spring into action to aid sentient beings while embodying meditative serenity. Her right hand is extended over her right knee in the om mudra, symbolizing her willingness to grant devotees boons, blessings, and protection. Her left hand is held at her heart in the three jewels mudra, symbolizing the Three Jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (community). The stem of a blue utpala (night lotus) flower blooms beside her left and right ear, representing purity, wisdom, and compassion blooming even amidst suffering and challenges. Her face is youthful, beautiful, and serene, reflecting her loving-kindness and approachable nature. Green Tara is adorned with rich ornaments, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, and a five-pointed crown, which represent her enlightened status and the treasures of the Dharma.
Green Tara is a highly revered female Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying the principles of swift compassion, protection, and enlightened activity. She is considered a savior who responds quickly to the needs and prayers of her devotees, helping them overcome obstacles, fears, and dangers on the path to spiritual realization. Green Tara, known as the "Mother of Liberation," is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha," is chanted for her blessings and swift, compassionate action.

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching the face with the bare hand can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.
