About Our Product

This Handcrafted Buddhist Enlightenment Stupa represents peace, wisdom, devotion, and the sacred path toward awakening. Crafted from copper with hand-carved gemstone details including turquoise, lapis lazuli, and coral, this stupa is richly decorated with layered tiers, ornamental patterns, and a central shrine-like section that gives it a strong spiritual presence. Standing at 34 cm tall with a weight of 2.02 kg, it is a meaningful centerpiece for Buddhist altars, shrine rooms, meditation spaces, temples, or spiritual collections.

The Enlightenment Stupa is traditionally connected with the Buddha’s awakening under the Bodhi Tree, symbolizing victory over ignorance and the realization of ultimate wisdom. Its square base, rounded dome, rising steps, and upper spire reflect the gradual journey of Buddhist practice, from grounding and discipline to meditation, wisdom, and enlightenment. The gemstone work adds symbolic richness, with turquoise often associated with protection and balance, coral with life force and blessings, and lapis lazuli with wisdom, depth, and spiritual clarity.

Placing this Buddhist Enlightenment Stupa on an altar encourages mindfulness, devotion, inner peace, and spiritual focus. It serves as a sacred support for prayer offerings, meditation, mantra recitation, and daily reflection, reminding practitioners of the awakened mind and the path beyond confusion and suffering. This stupa also makes a thoughtful gift for practitioners, collectors, or anyone seeking a sacred Buddhist symbol of blessings, wisdom, and enlightened aspiration.

Introduction of Stupa

Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
