About our Statue:
This Serene Mitrupa Buddha Handmade Statue, also known as Akshobhya Buddha, stands
At 8.3”/21cm in height and 6.1”/15.5cm at the base, weighing 1.41 kg. Made from copper with 24K gold gilding and intricate gold and acrylic paintings, this statue embodies the serene, unshakable nature of Akshobhya. Expertly handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, it is a meaningful addition to altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual art collections.
Mitrupa, also known as Akshobhya Buddha, is portrayed with a calm, meditative expression, his eyes gently lowered in deep concentration. His right hand performs the bhumisparsha mudra, the earth-touching gesture, symbolizing his unwavering commitment and the moment of enlightenment. He holds an upright vajra in his left hand, symbolizing indestructible wisdom and mental clarity. He embodies meditative stability and spiritual purity in the vajra posture on a lotus base. His form features an ushnisha, the crown-like bump symbolizing supreme wisdom, and elongated earlobes, indicating renunciation of material wealth. Draped in simple monastic robes, Mitrupa radiates a peaceful, grounded presence—expressing unshakable awareness and enlightened insight.
Introduction to Mitrupa:
Mitrupa, also known as Mitrugpa, is a deity in Tibetan Buddhism identified with immovable wisdom, clarity, and spiritual protection. He is often equated with Akshobhya Buddha, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, who symbolizes steadfastness, serenity, and the transformation of anger into wisdom that is mirror-like. Mitrupa represents the quality of being immovable in the face of obstacles and distractions, embodying spiritual resolve and unwavering clarity on the path to enlightenment. As such, he serves as a protector and inspiration for practitioners seeking stability and wisdom in their meditation and spiritual practice.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Start ShoppingI had a wonderful experience purchasing a Sri Yantra brass wall hanging from this seller. The product is beautiful, well-crafted, and exactly what I was looking for. The seller’s service was excellent from start to finish.
The packaging was done with great care, and the item arrived safely in a well-protected wooden box. I really appreciated the attention to detail, especially for such a special and delicate piece. The shipment also arrived on time, which made the whole experience even better.
I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking for quality products, careful packaging, and reliable service. I am very happy with my purchase and would gladly buy from them again.
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!
