The Buddha is depicted with his left hand holding a myrobalan flower. In contrast, in his right hand, he carries an alms bowl containing the nectar of immortality, which represents the ultimate cure for suffering. He is seated on a moon disc lotus seat, which symbolizes the purity of his intentions and his enlightened state of mind, with a serene facial expression that conveys a sense of inner peace and calmness.

The statue is beautifully painted with acrylic colors, enhancing its beauty. This statue's beautiful detailing, gold gilding, and silver plating are sure to capture the eye and add a sense of peace and tranquility to any setting.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to liberate sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness, while emphasizing the importance of prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.

Introduction to Medicine Buddha:

The Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajyaguru, is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the Supreme Healer. His teachings center on alleviating the suffering of sentient creatures, both physical and spiritual. Meditating on his picture is thought to promote health, peace, and well-being, as well as ultimate mental healing through enlightenment.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
