Introduction To Yamantaka Yidam :
Yamantaka is a Sanskrit name Yama- the god of death; and atanka- the destroyer. Thus, Yamantaka means “Destroyer of Death”. Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Bodhisattva Manjusri. Yamantaka is also known as Vajrabhairava and is always depicted as fear-inducing, scary, and intimidating. He is also one of the main yidams in the Sakya school. Many Have gone into Rainbow Body following Yamantaka Practise.
