About Our Statue:
This small statue of the Buddha, Shakyamuni, is perfect for displaying in homes or workspaces for daily insight. Featuring intricate details and craftsmanship, it serves as a reminder to cultivate inner peace and stay mindful.

Handmade in Nepal by a group of skilled artists. The statue is constructed of a copper alloy and then hand-carved in detail. He is depicted sitting atop a lotus seat with a calm expression. His right hand is downward in the earth-touching gesture (bhumisparsha mudra), with which he calls the earth goddess Sthavara to affirm that he is entitled to attain enlightenment, and in his right hand, he holds an alms bowl.

Shakyamuni, often known as "The Buddha," was a prince named Siddhartha Gautama who embarked on a spiritual journey after observing the suffering of life. He presented his insights after reaching enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, laying the groundwork for Buddhism. His teachings emphasize the abolition of suffering, personal awakening, and the attainment of Nirvana.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king, following his father's wishes, and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
