About Our Statue :

The Tibetan Art of Manjushri is crafted from oxidized copper, showcasing intricate artistry and traditional symbolism. Measuring 9.4”/24cm in height and 7.7”/19.5cm at the base, it weighs 1.78 kg. Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is revered in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism for his ability to cut through ignorance with the sword of wisdom and illuminate the path of understanding. This statue is ideal for meditation spaces, study areas, or spiritual collections that focus on clarity and insight.

Manjushri, the esteemed Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is shown seated in a poised and serene manner atop a lotus and moon disc throne—powerful symbols of purity, inner stability, and liberation from illusion. The lotus rising from muddy waters signifies the emergence of wisdom from ignorance, while the moon disc reflects the calm clarity that comes with awakened insight. In his right hand, he wields a flaming sword, representing the sharpness of wisdom used to cut through illusion, ignorance, and delusion to reveal the ultimate truth. His left hand is raised in the Vitarka Mudra, symbolizing teaching and intellectual discourse, underscoring his role as a bearer of profound Dharma. A blooming lotus near his left arm supports the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra, a sacred text that embodies the perfection of wisdom leading to enlightenment. Manjushri is richly adorned with celestial ornaments and wears a crown symbolizing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, each representing one of the five transformative wisdoms (pañca-jñāna) that dissolve ignorance and light the way toward awakening. As the embodiment of wisdom, Manjushri serves as a luminous guide, leading beings toward ultimate truth and liberation from the cycle of suffering.

In Buddhist traditions, Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is revered for his ability to cut through delusion and bring clarity. When paired with his consort, this portrayal highlights the union of transcendent wisdom (Manjushri) and profound comprehension (Consort). They work together to guide the seeker in understanding reality better, emphasizing the balance between knowledge and sensitivity. This statue serves as a beacon for anyone seeking a greater sense of themselves and the universe.

Introduction To Manjushri :

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the most famous compassion bodhisattvas, is particularly revered among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.

How do you take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
