About our Statue:

The Shakyamuni Buddha Statue stands at 27cm tall and weighs 2.16kg, making it a perfect centerpiece for any sacred space. Made from oxidized copper, this beautiful sculpture is enhanced with 24K gold gliding, acrylic color accents, and finished with electro gold plating. The Buddha is depicted in a meditative pose, with his right hand in the Bhumisparsha mudra, symbolizing his moment of enlightenment. In contrast, his left hand holds an alms bowl, representing simplicity and generosity. Resting on a lotus base, this statue embodies purity and spiritual awakening.

The Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted with his right hand in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing the moment of enlightenment when he touched the Earth to witness his awakening. His left hand holds an alms bowl, representing his renunciation and devotion to the path of simplicity. The ushnisha, or crown-like topknot, signifies his wisdom and spiritual knowledge. Resting on a lotus base, the Buddha represents purity, rising above worldly attachments. Dressed in monastic robes, he embodies humility and the path of enlightenment.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
