About our Statue:
This Serene Green Tara Handcrafted Statue stands at 5.3”/13.5cm in height and 4.1”/10.5cm at the base, weighing 0.51 kg. Made from 24K gold-gilded copper and detailed with gold and acrylic paintings, this compact statue radiates the compassionate and swift-acting energy of Green Tara. Carefully handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, it is a perfect addition to personal altars, small meditation spaces, or as a spiritual gift symbolizing protection and guidance.

Shyama Tara, revered for her profound compassion and protective qualities, is shown seated gracefully with her right leg extended, symbolizing her readiness to assist others. In her right hand, she holds a lotus, signifying purity and spiritual flourishing. In contrast, her left hand forms the Three Jewel Mudra, paying homage to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, while also holding a lotus to represent ongoing spiritual development. She wears a crown featuring the Five Dhyani Buddhas, symbolizing the five aspects of enlightened wisdom. Seated on a lotus base with a moon disc, her calm yet active posture emphasizes her role as a compassionate guide. The statue’s detailed artistry beautifully reflects her infinite empathy and steadfast dedication to supporting sentient beings on their journey to enlightenment.

Green Tara is a highly revered deity in Tibetan Buddhism, the embodiment of compassion, protection, and swift action. She is considered a Bodhisattva (a being who seeks enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings) and is often referred to as the Mother of all Buddhas. Green Tara is associated with healing and compassionate protection, offering relief from suffering and danger. Her main qualities include her quick response to those who call on her, symbolizing immediate protection. She is also regarded as a guide on enlightenment, helping practitioners overcome obstacles.

Introduction To The Green Tara:

Green Tara is one of the principal deities who deals with confused and distracted beings, bringing us back to our original state. She helps you let go of hope for a particular outcome and regain your energy, generating inner peace and clarity. She is believed to be incarnate in every pious woman. Green is associated with the element of wood. Wood inspires rejuvenation, compassion, flexibility, and growth.

She is considered a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of our physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
