Wooden Samantabhadra Statue with Consort, Nepal Buddha Statue

This Samantabhadra statue displayed with his consort is made out of wood. He is a great Bodhisattva of the principal Bodhisattvas. Samanta means general or universal, Bhadra means sage, and Samantabhadra, which is derived from these words, means the principle of universal love or compassion.
