About Our Statue
The Religious Statue of Manjushri stands 13.8” (35 cm) tall with a 9.8” (25 cm) base and weighs 3.51 kg. Made from an oxidized copper body, it is decorated with gold and acrylic paintings that highlight its exquisite details. This statue symbolizes the cutting away of ignorance and the illumination of enlightened knowledge, making it a perfect addition to any meditation space or sacred collection.

Manjushri, the revered Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is depicted seated gracefully upon a lotus and moon disc throne—symbols of spiritual purity, stability, and liberation from illusion. The lotus rising from murky waters represents wisdom emerging from ignorance, while the moon disc evokes mental clarity and tranquility brought forth by awakened insight. In his right hand, Manjushri brandishes a flaming sword, embodying the piercing power of wisdom to cut through delusion, ignorance, and illusion, revealing the true nature of reality. His left hand performs the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of teaching and intellectual discussion, affirming his role as a transmitter of profound Dharma. Near his left arm blooms a lotus flower, upon which rests the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra—a sacred scripture representing the perfection of transcendent wisdom that leads to enlightenment. Adorned in divine ornaments that reflect his celestial qualities, he also wears a crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, each symbolizing one of the five wisdoms (pañca-jñāna) that dissolve ignorance and illuminate the path to spiritual awakening. As the embodiment of wisdom, Manjushri is a radiant guide, helping sentient beings realize the ultimate truth and freedom from the cycle of suffering.

In Buddhist traditions, Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is revered for his ability to cut through delusion and bring clarity. When paired with his consort, this portrayal stresses the combination of transcendent wisdom (Manjushri) and deep comprehension (Consort). They work together to guide the seeker to understand reality better, emphasizing the balance of knowledge and sensitivity. This statue serves as a beacon for anyone seeking a greater sense of themselves and the universe.

Introduction to Manjushri:

Manjushri, respected in many Buddhist traditions, represents transcendent wisdom and insight into Dharma teachings. This is complemented by his consort, who embodies compassion and loving-kindness. Their combination serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of blending profound knowledge with true compassion on the path to enlightenment and spiritual liberation.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
