About Our Statue :

This peaceful figurine of Gautama Buddha, known as Shakyamuni Buddha, stands 8.7 inches (22cm) tall and 6.1 inches (15.5cm) wide, and weighs approximately 1.27 kilograms. Crafted by skilled Nepali artisans, the statue is made from a copper body and adorned with 24K gold gilding along with detailed gold and acrylic paintings. Depicted in serene meditation, this representation of the historical Buddha radiates tranquility and wisdom, making it a meaningful addition to any altar, meditation space, or sacred décor.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted in the Vajra posture, seated firmly on a lotus base, symbolizing purity and enlightenment. His right hand reaches toward the earth in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, marking the moment of his enlightenment, while his left hand holds an alms bowl, representing renunciation and the monastic path. He is adorned with a simple monastic robe, a serene facial expression that radiates inner peace, and the Ushnisha atop his head, symbolizing transcendent wisdom.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha:

Siddhartha Gautama, also known as Shakyamuni Buddha, rediscovered the Middle Way and is regarded as the enlightened one who established Buddhism. His teachings on the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path have helped numerous people comprehend the nature of suffering, its causes, and the way to liberation. Shakyamuni's life exemplifies the possibility for all beings to reach enlightenment via practice and moral behavior, from his renunciation to his enlightenment and teaching career.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
