About Our Statue :

This Blue Shakyamuni Buddha statue is 40cm tall and 27cm wide, weighing 6.26kg. This sacred figure, made of copper and painted with brilliant acrylic colors, represents the tranquil and serene essence of Buddhism's founder, Shakyamuni Buddha. The bright blue color denotes knowledge, peace, and deep spirituality, while the Buddha holds a bowl, indicating charity and nourishment for all beings.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted sitting in the lotus pose (padmasana), indicating his steady concentration and mastery over the distractions of the material world. His right hand, stretched toward the earth in bhumisparsha mudra, represents his moment of enlightenment, inviting the earth to witness his waking. The left hand, lying gently in his lap in dhyana mudra holding an alms bowl, depicts the profound state of meditation and mindfulness that leads to insight and clarity.

The Buddha's diligent detailing and tranquil gaze indicate serenity, wisdom, and spiritual awakening. The statue's beautiful position and peaceful temperament make it an ideal representation of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings, giving peace to any area. This statue is perfect for meditation rooms, or altars, or as a thoughtful gift, serving as a continual reminder of the path to enlightenment and inner serenity.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king by the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
