Gompopa, recognized for his profound wisdom and compassion, is shown here grasping a korlo (wheel of Dharma), which symbolizes his teachings on the way to enlightenment and spiritual emancipation.
The intricate design of the Gompopa statue showcases exceptional craftsmanship, with finely detailed robes and facial features that express serenity and inner peace. The silver plating adds a luminous touch to the figure, highlighting the divine radiance of the teacher. His right hand holds the symbolic korlo, while his calm, serene expression represents deep contemplation and mastery of spiritual practice. The oxidized copper finish lends the statue a warm, timeless appearance, while the carefully engraved patterns on his attire reflect traditional Tibetan art and symbolism.

Introduction To Buddhist Master :
Three revered personalities in the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism are Marpa, Gampopa, and Milarepa. A farmer by trade, Marpa the Translator founded the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and rose to prominence as one of Tibet's great masters. Milarepa, Marpa's disciple, is revered for his songs and poetry about the road to enlightenment. Gampopa, Marpa's student, combined the Kadampa teachings with the Mahamudra practice. This group of figures represents the fundamental Tibetan Buddhist idea of teachings being passed down from master to pupil.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
