About Our Statue:
This 9-inch Vajrasattva Rupa, also known as Dorje Sempa in Tibetan, is a traditionally crafted sculpture depicting the iconic Buddhist deity, an essential figure in tantric Buddhism. The intricate artwork detail makes this a stunning decorative piece, perfect for setting up a sacred space.
Handmade in Nepal by skilled artists, the statue features a copper body and is gilded in genuine 24k Gold. The deity is holding an upright vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left hand. He is depicted sitting atop a moon disc of a lotus seat with a smile on his face.
Vajrasattva's enlightened aspirations are unlike those of previous Buddhas because of the power of his prayers. He embodies the hundred Buddhas, the five Buddhas, and so on, in his nature. He is unlike any other deity because he is the all-pervading lord of the hundred Buddha families and the solitary Buddha family of the great secret.
Introduction To Vajrasattva :
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as a figure of purity. He is frequently seen clutching a bell and a vajra, or thunderbolt, signifying the confluence of wisdom and compassion required for enlightenment. His mantra is often repeated as part of individual and group purification rituals, highlighting his role in helping followers maintain spiritual integrity and cleanliness.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
