About Our Statue :
This Medicine Buddha Statue is a magnificent copper statue, expertly hand-carved by Vajrayan artists in our workshop, depicting the Medicine Buddha, a revered figure in Buddhist culture. Following that, the statue is oxidized to give it a classic appearance, completing its status as a piece of art. In the statue, his right hand holds a myrobalan plant, signifying his role as the "Great Healer," as he sits on a moon-disc lotus seat, while his left hand holds an alms bowl. The statue is also partially gilded in 24K gold and silver, adding a touch of elegance.

From the folds of the Medicine Buddha's robe to the features of his tranquil face, every detail of the statue has been painstakingly crafted by our expert artisans. It is an exquisite addition to any setting and an actual work of Buddhist art.

Medicine Buddha is also known as Sangye Menla in Tibetan. The mantra of Medicine Buddha is known to be very powerful for healing people suffering and for increasing healing capacity. The practices also help to master hatred and ignorance; hence, meditating on his mantra helps reduce mental and physical suffering.

Introduction to Medicine Buddha:
The healing energy of all enlightened beings is manifested in the Sangye Menla, also known as the Medicine Buddha. He is highly revered in all Buddhist traditions, but is particularly notable for his pledge to help beings overcome the mental and physical ailments that hinder their spiritual practice. Menla Sangay is considered highly effective for healing and developing a compassionate heart, as he embodies the ideal balance between spirituality and science in medicine.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
