About Our Statue :
This Guru Rinpoche statue, 24 cm tall and 15 cm wide, is meticulously crafted from oxidized copper and beautifully gold-plated to highlight Guru Padmasambhava's spiritual radiance. Guru Rinpoche, a venerated figure in Tibetan Buddhism, is renowned as the spiritual teacher who brought Tantric Buddhism to Tibet and led individuals toward awakening and nirvana. The statue's sanctity is further enhanced by gold-plated elements symbolizing Guru Rinpoche's wisdom, power, and transformative energy.
Guru Rinpoche is depicted seated in a regal posture, embodying confidence and profound spiritual mastery. In his right hand, he grasps a vajra, symbolizing unbreakable strength and power. His left hand holds a skull cup (kapala), brimming with the nectar of wisdom. Resting against his left shoulder is the khatvanga, a trident adorned with sacred elements that signify his tantric achievements and the harmonious union of wisdom and compassion.
Introduction To Guru Rinpoche :
Guru Rinpoche was instrumental figure in Tibetan Buddhism. In Tibetan Buddhism, Padmasambhava's teachings are said to have an oral lineage (kama) as well as a lineage of the hidden treasure texts (termas). He is said to appear in visionary encounters to tertöns, and his form is visualized during guru yoga practice, particularly in the Nyingma school. He is revered by Buddhists in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, India's Himalayan states, and other countries around the world.
How do take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
