Introduction To Guru Tsokye Dorje:

Guru Tsokye Dorje, also known as Guru Dorje Tötreng Tsal, is one of the Eight Manifestations of Guru Padmasambhava, the great tantric master who introduced Buddhism to Tibet in the eighth century. This specific manifestation depicts Guru Rinpoche in his wrathful aspect, symbolizing the fierce compassion required to overcome evil energies and ego-clinging. The name "Tsokye Dorje" means "Vajra Born from the Lake," referring to his miraculous birth on a lotus in Dhanakosha Lake. In this form, he is shown holding a vajra and a skull cup, both embellished with bone embellishments, representing the change of ignorance to wisdom. Guru Tsokye Dorje is a significant figure in Vajrayana practice, serving as a powerful defender and remover of obstacles on the path to enlightenment.

How do take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is utterly free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
