Handmade Historical Buddha Shakyamuni Statue

The traditional historical Buddha Shakyamuni statue was painstakingly but with joy created in our workshop and is brimming with exceptional Himalayan artistry. The statue's copper body is covered in gold leaf, giving it its sheen and brilliance. The Buddha is shown sitting on a moon disc lotus on an ornately ornamented throne with exquisite patterns and designs. He is doing the "Bhumisparsa Mudra," which symbolizes the Buddha's awakening while holding an alms bowl in his right hand.

Add this outstanding art to your shrine or give it to a devotee for their daily Buddhist practices. We assure you of the quality of this piece, as only the best materials were used.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
