About Our Product

This Tibetan Chenrezig Bodhisattva Statue is crafted from brass and decorated with coral red stone, lapis lazuli, and turquoise, materials traditionally used in Himalayan Buddhist art. Measuring 15 cm in height and 11 cm in width and weighing 1.01 kg, the statue has a presence that makes it suitable for placement on an altar, shelf, or meditation area.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the embodiment of compassion and loving-kindness. His calm expression and seated posture reflect inner peace, awareness, and dedication to the welfare of all beings. The iconography encourages practitioners to cultivate patience, empathy, and mindful conduct in daily life, making the statue meaningful for contemplation and spiritual study.

This statue can serve as a visual support during meditation, prayer, or mantra recitation, such as the practice of compassion-focused mindfulness. It is appropriate for personal devotional use, educational settings, or for those who appreciate traditional Tibetan Buddhist craftsmanship. The piece may also be given as a thoughtful gift connected to spiritual practice or cultural appreciation.

Introduction of Chenrezig

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as 'the lord who observes in all directions.' The practice of Chenrezig encourages the development of a calm and compassionate heart, as compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings during times of challenge and difficulty.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
