About Our Product
The Handcrafted Stupa of Great Miracles is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist symbol, carefully crafted from a copper body and finished with gold plating. This stupa measures 20cm in height and 10.5cm in both length and width, making it a meaningful addition to your altar, meditation space, or spiritual decor setting. Inspired by one of the eight great stupas, it represents the Buddha’s display of miracles to inspire faith and devotion among his followers.
The design of the Stupa of Great Miracles carries deep spiritual symbolism. Its stepped base represents the foundation of the path to enlightenment, while the rounded dome signifies the vast nature of wisdom. The harmika and spire rising above symbolize spiritual awakening and the ascent toward higher consciousness. Each element reflects the teachings of the Buddha, reminding practitioners of transformation, devotion, and the power of enlightened action.
Placing this Handcrafted Stupa of Great Miracles, also known as a Tibetan Buddhist stupa, gold plated stupa, or copper meditation stupa, in your sacred space invites blessings, clarity, and spiritual focus. It serves as a powerful visual anchor for meditation and a meaningful representation of Buddhist teachings, making it ideal for collectors, practitioners, and those seeking authentic Buddhist altar decor.
Introduction of Stupa of Great Miracles
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha's body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
