About Our Ritual Item :
This Tibetan Stupa with Turquoise is a sacred Buddhist monument symbolizing the enlightened mind of the Buddha and the path to awakening. Traditionally, stupas are placed in temples, monasteries, and personal shrines to radiate peace, wisdom, and compassion. Measuring 48cm in height and 26.5cm in width, this stupa serves as both a ritual object and a powerful reminder of spiritual dedication.
Beautifully handcrafted from a copper body, this stupa is adorned with vibrant turquoise and coral stones, which are highly valued in Himalayan spiritual art. The turquoise symbolizes healing and spiritual clarity, while coral embodies life energy and protection. At 3.81kg, it has a solid presence, making it an inspiring centerpiece for meditation spaces, altars, or ritual ceremonies.
In Buddhist tradition, the stupa is considered a sacred vessel containing blessings and wisdom, representing the enlightened state of mind. Incorporating this stupa into your spiritual practice enhances meditation, offerings, and daily rituals, while also serving as an exquisite Himalayan artifact. With its copper craftsmanship and stone inlay, it unites beauty, devotion, and profound meaning.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
