This beautiful statue, measuring 27.5cm tall by 24cm wide and weighing 2.94kg, is precisely carved from copper and gold-plated for a brilliant finish that enhances its divine presence. Shakyamuni Buddha is represented in the classic earth-touching mudra (bhumisparsha), symbolizing his moment of enlightenment and inviting the Earth to witness his profound realization. The peaceful expression, intricately detailed robes, and lotus base embody traditional Tibetan artistry and the essence of meditation.

This Buddha's copper body is gold-plated, representing purity and the illumination of wisdom. The gold plating is executed with meticulous care, emphasizing the exquisite engravings on the robes and lotus pedestal. The lotus pedestal beneath the Buddha symbolizes purity and spiritual growth, making it an ideal visual and spiritual focal point.

In Tibetan Buddhism, Shakyamuni Buddha is the Enlightened One who vanquished suffering through meditation and shared the road to nirvana. His image symbolizes compassion, inner peace, and the pursuit of truth. Displaying the Golden Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha bestows wisdom and peace, encouraging awareness, meditation, and spiritual development.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king by his royal father's wishes and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. At about 29 years old, he learned of the immense suffering of others. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
