This small statue, which stands at a modest 4.3 inches tall and has a base the same size, is carefully handmade from oxidized copper, paying homage to the long-standing Tibetan artistic traditions. The Garuda's form is incredibly detailed, with every curve and feature skillfully portraying the essence of this mythical creature. Every feature of the figure, from the furious countenance to the finely carved feathers, conveys a sense of grandeur and strength.

Garuda bestows blessings of protection and strength, assisting devotees in overcoming challenges on their spiritual journey. Fans look to him for direction and strength, using his bravery and quickness of movement to overcome obstacles in life with tenacity and resolve.

Garuda is a mythological Hindu and Buddhist mythology bird flying majestically through the celestial regions. He represents bravery, tenacity, and unshakable commitment as his majestic wings are stretched wide. Garuda represents the harmony between the heavenly and terrestrial realms in Hinduism and is Lord Vishnu, the universe's protector's mount. He is revered for his prodigious speed over great distances, as a formidable protector against evil powers, and as a sworn opponent of serpents. Garuda is a beloved Buddhist protector, encouraging followers to uphold his ideals—strength, safety, and spiritual dedication.

Introduction To The Garuda :

Garuda is a gigantic bird of prey in Buddhism. They are also known as Suparna at times. This translates to "good wings, good wings." They, like the Nagas, mix the attributes of animals and sacred beings and are the lowest of the Devas. Garuda has rulers and towns, and some possess the magical ability to transform into human form when dealing with humans.

How do you take care of your statues?

Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any rough surfaces to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
