About Our Ritual Item :
This Copper stupa Symbol of Enlightenment is a magnificent handcrafted Tibetan Stupa, representing the ultimate realization of wisdom and compassion in Buddhism. Towering at 230cm in height, this sacred monument commands reverence and admiration. Adorned with vivid turquoise and coral stones, each section of the stupa is meticulously designed to capture the brilliance of enlightenment and the cosmic balance of the universe. The gold-plated copper body gleams with divine radiance, creating a spiritual centerpiece for temples, monasteries, or meditation halls.
Every detail of this Tibetan Stupa Statue carries deep symbolic meaning—from the base, which represents earth and stability, to the spire, symbolizing the path toward liberation. The inclusion of mythical guardian lions on the pedestal reflects the strength and protection of sacred teachings. These finely detailed carvings and stone inlays are the result of expert Newar artisanship, preserving centuries-old Himalayan techniques passed through generations.
The vibrant turquoise and coral inlays not only enhance its aesthetic allure but also carry spiritual power—turquoise for healing and coral for protection. Together, they create a harmonious balance of energy that radiates blessings into the surrounding space. The stupa’s shimmering golden finish reflects light beautifully, transforming any sacred space into a sanctuary of peace and inspiration.
In Buddhist tradition, building or housing a stupa brings immense spiritual benefit. It symbolizes the enlightened mind of the Buddha, and it is said that even a single glance at a stupa can purify negative karma. This monumental Copper Stupa of Enlightenment serves as a vessel of merit, awakening mindfulness and reverence wherever it stands.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
